Brilliant photograph of men and horse in joined in perfect happiness, here South West African and attached South African mounted infantry play a game of mounted football in 1983 at Otavi – South West Africa (now Namibia), this was the base for the South West African Specialist Unit (known as SWASPES) which consisted of mounted infantry, dog handlers, trackers and a special unit motorcycle platoon (dirt bikes).
